Just rediced plaquenil from one tablet twice a day to one tablet once a day. I also take Cimzia injections bi-weekly but that has only been for about 6 months.

    Plaquenil is also an antirheumatic medicine and is used to treat symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and discoid or systemic lupus erythematosus. This medicine is not effective against all strains of malaria.

    Itching and plaquenil - Sjogren's World Thought I would let you know that I have the severe itching after a shower similar "attacks". However, it occurred long before I started taking Plaquenil, so I doubt it's the cause. I have seen other threads about the itching after a shower/bath and seems it could be neurologic.which I have many other problems from SJS.
