    Quinacrine and Imuran Lupus Forums at The Lupus Site I am told that if I don't tolerate the Imuran well, I could be a good candidate for it since Plaquenil is off the table and prednisone is not tolerated well as a long term medication for me. Apparently the insurance companies want to see that you have tried many avenues before they pay for they new, expensive and effective medicine for Lupus!
