What if i accidentally take 2 plaquenil

As a result, the body produces antibodies that inflict cell damage, most commonly targeting joints, skin, kidneys and the nervous system. I think even though they say it doesn't make a difference, I feel wierd if I don't take my plaquenil sometimes. Hi want2bepainfree, If you don't have to, don't stop your plaquenil. No one knows but I cry sometimes when no one is around to see me. Hugs, Mel Hello all, I am currently new to this site and ran across the discussion about stopping Plaquenil. Join the group and find support for coping with lupus. I stopped taking the plaquenil the beginning of December. And when I'm crying like a baby--I could feel the pain just throb in me. I took plaquenil for several years, then I went to the Mayo Clinic and they didn't think I had lupus and took me off. I have been taking Plaquenil for about 8-9 months and thought that it was not helping me because I still have a fair amount of joint pain, fatigue, muscle pain and so many other issues.

How does plaquenil treat ra Plaquenil for fibromyalgia

Jul 21, 2010 I don't think there are any negative interactions. As for missing doses of Plaquenil, I've been on it for 4.5 years and I used to be able to go a few days missing doses with no ill effects. Now, if I just miss a day or two, I can feel the inflammation in my muscles/joints within 24 hours. Same goes for missing more than a few days of Naproxen. I take Plaquenil 200MG TAB.tablet twice daily I just accidently took two tablets just now, will I be ok if I - Answered by a verified Doctor We use cookies to give you the best possible experience on our website. Has anyone ever stopped taking Plaquenil? Or missed a dose or a couple of doses. Do you feel any different? Any pain when you don't take it. I missed 2 doses and felt a lot of pain in my arms, and had a pretty bad couple of days. Is it bc of my missed doses? Just wondering if any of you.

It doesn't agree with my stomach (I take it with meals too). The pain in my swollen neck glands is horrific, and my arms and legs are hurting once again. Why does it seem like my whole life just turned for the worst --it was like I was fine one day and the next I'm so ill. It was pure hell, every joint in my body hurt and the fatigue was tremendous. As Tracy stated it is such as slow acting drug when you first start it, it's really hard to tell if it's working, it's not until we stop the med that we realize what a huge difference it was making. I happen to run out of my medication and fail to be in a hurry to get a refill because I had convinced myself that it wasn't working anyway. I missed 2 doses and felt a lot of pain in my arms, and had a pretty bad couple of days. Just wondering if any of you experience any pain if you don't take a few pills.

In children, dosage is also based on weight. For malaria prevention, take this medication by mouth once a week on the same day of the week, or as directed by your doctor. Mark a calendar to help you remember. This drug is usually started 2 weeks before entering the area with malaria. Hydroxychloroquine comes as a tablet to take by mouth. For prevention of malaria in adults, two tablets are usually taken once a week on exactly the same day of each week. The first dose is taken 1 to 2 weeks before traveling to an area where malaria is common, and then doses are continued for 8 weeks after exposure. Hi, I saw a rheumy for the first time last week, and he prescribed plaquenil, 200 mg twice a day. Didn't diagnose with Lupus yet, but said I definitely have something autoimmune going on and the plaq will help with the fatigue. He warned that it could take 2-6 months, though, which is what I've read here too.
